The Signs of the Times

These are the days of evil!
Times of heartache and sorrow!
of fearful sights, and dark gloomy nights…
The signs of the times!

Soon it will appear, and it’s very near, when the earth will shake from fierce and enormous quakes,
amidst the tremendous famines, pestilence and huge disease outbreaks.
Then the heavens will roar and shake!
The signs of the times!

Soon men’s hearts will begin to fail for fear of the falling stars and great hail
that will fall from the sky.
As they seek to hide, they will desperately cry,
The signs of the times!

Yet in leu of all this, they still will insist to do evil, rant and rave.
They will not repent and pray, nor turn from their wicked ways, that they do every day.
To their own eternal damnation and shame.

In spite of the signs of the times.
